Paul Ippolito Memorial Paul Ippolito Memorial was established in 1917. Though Paul Ippolito, Sr. originated the business in 1900 it was not until 1917 that his first funeral home was opened. Prior to the funeral home all viewings were held in the homes of the deceased, as was common at that time. The funeral home originated as one converted house. Eventually, as business grew, there was a need for expansion so the adjoining house was purchased and the two buildings were joined together. The funeral home has three viewing chapels on the main floor as well as an office and restrooms. There is also an arrangement office and a large casket selection room upstairs. Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial was established in 1952. Paul Ippolito, Jr. and his brother, George, acquired the property at 7 Summit Avenue, Summit, NJ for what would be their second funeral home. Formerly a residence, the building was altered and converted to a funeral home. Over time the facility has undergone some alterations. These alterations included the expansion of the viewing chapels, a handicapped/wheelchair accessible entrance ramp, and handicapped bathroom facilities. Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial was established in 1957. Paul Ippolito, Jr. And his brother, George acquired the property at 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights and converted the existing home to a funeral home. This facility had undergone a couple of renovations. The most recent renovation was completed in 2001. The current facility is completely handicapped accessible featuring a large foyer, 2 large viewing chapels, handicapped accessible bathrooms, and an arrangement office on the main floor.
